Anna Malek
When Anna was a young girl, her father owned an Olympus OM1…
Now a Nikon girl, Anna dabbled in film photography at the age of 14. She loved being in the darkroom, and was one of the last students that had access to the high school darkroom before it was converted into a digital lab. She switched to digital for a while with her Nikon D5100 until Senior year of college. With access to one of the best darkrooms in Chicago, Anna rekindled her love of film photography. Upon graduating she now primarily shoots 35mm film and her specialty is, concerts. Anna loves capturing an image that cannot be replicated. Film is fickle, and if she sees a moment she’s going to take it.
Anna primarily shoots with a Nikon N90S. She develops and scans all of her images. Her favorite film stock is Ilford Hp5.
Anna now offers digital photography services. You can find her pricing on services here.
